Oceanside CA— It was another amazing weekend for our second event of the season for San Diego High School Div 3 and 4 Surf Teams. The surf was excellent with 4 to 5 foot waves and epic conditions and the weather was spectacular and hot with everyone making sure they were fully covered with Surface Sun Screen.
In Division 3 after 2 events San Marcos High School and Coronado High School both have 2 wins each. San Marcos High School was the overall division winner for the 2014-15 season but Coronado High School is coming on strong and it will be a real interesting season to see who keeps up the winning record. Maya Saulino from San Marcos continues her dominance in the Womens Shortboard Division with 2 wins.
Division 4 should prove to be a real interesting season with El Camino and St. Augustine/Our Lady of Peace with 2 wins each while we have 4 schools tied for the 3rd and 4th spots with 3 events remaining in the season. Some very close teams so we will see how the season shakes out. Congratulations to Kyle Davis from Santa Fe Christian for his wins in both Mens Shortboard and Longboard and to Sydney Johnson from Classical Academy for her back to back wins in Womens Shortboard. Thank you to all our sponsors who make this season possible.
