Oceanside CA– Young surfers fought for every wave they could during the first meet of the National Scholastic Surfing Association, Southwest Conference Open Season on Saturday.
Surf was knee-high, for the most part, with some sets of three to four feet and very little wind. The Open Season Session #1 continues Sunday at the South Jetty at 7:00 am. There are 10 Open season events on the schedule this year but the next event in Oceanside isn’t until March 21, 2015.
