ENCINITAS — Registration is now open for the Institute of Contemporary Art San Diego’s weeklong summer art camps June 17 to Aug. 2 at its locations in Encinitas and Balboa Park.
Featuring a different theme each week, the institute’s teaching artists will help inspire creativity and mental wellbeing at its small-scale camps. Young artists will explore art-making with a variety of supplies, acquire new skills by expanding on their art-making techniques, and continue to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
At the end of each week, young visiting artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the Weekly Student Art Exhibition.
View dates and learn more below, including information about discounts for members, sibling discounts and more, at ICA’s summer camp website, icasandiego.org/summer-camp-2024/.
Organizations with summer camps are invited to submit news releases and notices to the North Coast Current and OsideNews. Send them to currentevents[at]northcoastcurrent.com.
