San Dieguito district superintendent resigns

San Dieguito Union High School District’s superintendent has resigned, the district announced Tuesday, April 27.
Robert Haley, who led the district for less than three years, will leave the position effective April 30. He joined the district in September 2018.
The abrupt departure was set in motion by trustees’ approval of a Voluntary Resignation Agreement, according to the district announcement. No reason was given for the resignation.
“The Board wishes Dr. Haley well,” the announcement stated.
The Board of Trustees has set a special meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 29, to discuss the process for appointing an interim superintendent, according to the meeting agenda.
