ENCINITAS — The San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy invites residents to participate in a Lake Drive Community Planting Event on Jan. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon. Native species will be planted on the conservancy’s 77-acre Lake Drive property in Cardiff. Adults and children ages 12 and up are are welcome to participate.
