ENCINITAS — The Solana Center for Environmental Innovation offers a master composter class Saturdays starting Feb. 21, 9:30 a.m. to noon, at the San Diego Botanic Garden, 230 Quail Gardens Drive in Encinitas. Participants will learn about composting strategies and how to build and troubleshoot composting piles. They will also go on a field trip to a composting facility.
