ENCINITAS — The San Diego Botanic Garden holds its Gala in the Garden: Right In Our Own Backyard on Sept. 6 from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at the garden, 230 Quail Gardens Drive in Encinitas. The annual fundraiser this year honos Eric Larson, executive director of the San Diego County Farm Bureau. Guests have the opportunity to explore the garden’s trails, sample fine wine, craft beer and dishes from local restaurants. Live entertainment and floral designs are also part of the festivities.
