The Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego recently announced the hiring of Naomi Rabkin to assume the newly created position of North County Jewish Life Program Manager for the Leichtag Foundation.
In keeping with the Leichtag Foundation’s mission, Rabkin will develop programs to stimulate Jewish life and community at the recently purchased Paul Ecke Ranch in Encinitas. She will also help to support Jewish residents in North County, organize events at the ranch, oversee the North County Jewish Hub and coordinate ongoing community engagement, research and conversation.
“The growing Jewish community in North County will flourish with Naomi as a resource,” Charlene Seidle, senior vice president of JCF and executive director of the Leichtag Foundation, said in a news release. “Her varied background in Jewish communal life will bring dynamism and valuable perspective to programs in the region.”
