The Carlsbad Educational Foundation’s fourth annual Gala to Benefit Students is set for May 17 at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa.
Bringing together more than 500 community leaders, philanthropists and education supporters, the event will feature an reception, dinner and drinks, and live and silent auctions. Guests can also enjoy an unforgettable live concert by The Mighty Untouchables, a band known for their high-energy performances spanning Top 40 hits, Motown, disco, yacht rock, classic rock and jazz.
Since its inception in 2022, the Gala to Benefit Students has raised more than $900,000, funding educational programs serving more than 11,000 Carlsbad students in grades K-12.
“We are thrilled to bring our community together once again for this incredible evening dedicated to education,” Carlsbad Educational Foundation CEO Laura Pitts said. “The Gala is a key driver in funding innovative programs that enrich the learning experiences of our students — helping them thrive academically and beyond. Every ticket purchased, every auction bid, and every donation contributes to building a brighter future for Carlsbad’s youth.”
All proceeds from the gala will support more than 40 programs in music, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) and educational innovation, providing students with hands-on learning experiences that foster creativity, problem-solving and future career success.
Tickets and tables are available for purchase at carlsbaded.org/Gala.
