CARLSBAD — The Army And Navy Academy offers its Academy by the Sea Leadership Camp, a co-educational experience running July 8-20 for youths in grades 7 through 12.
Campers will learn the fundamentals of leadership while exploring an array of subjects such as aviation, drone piloting and aquaculture. Participants will learn foundations of leadership through a curriculum that combines Junior ROTC fundamentals with modules from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Guided trips and activities include visits to local museums; obstacle, ropes and paintball courses; beach outings; movie nights; and a talent show.
