Oceanside CA— MiraCosta College is proud to present two art exhibits showcasing the work of student artists.
“Undertones,” the annual student art show, is an all-media, juried art awards show that runs May 3–13 in the college’s Kruglak Gallery. A reception for the artists will be held Thursday, May 5, 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
A second exhibit will feature the work of MiraCosta College art majors enrolled in ART 295, Professional Practices and Portfolio Development in Visual Art.
This short exhibit runs May 23–26, also in the Kruglak Gallery. In collaboration with ART 271, Practical Museum and Gallery Exhibition and Management, students will design all aspects of the exhibit as a culmination and capstone project of their semester studies. A reception will be held Tuesday, May 24, 5–8 p.m.
MiraCosta College’s Kruglak Art Gallery is located in the Oceanside Campus Student Center, Bldg. 3400, located, 1 Barnard Drive. The Kruglak Gallery hours are Mondays/Tuesdays, 2:30–7:30 p.m.; and Wednesdays/Thursdays, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Admission is free.
