Cushman & Wakefield announced Nov. 21 the firm has represented owner Lincoln Property Company in a new lease for the entire 157,973-square-foot Class A industrial corporate headquarters property located at 2081 Faraday Ave. in Carlsbad.
The versatile industrial facility, which includes a mix of high-quality office functional warehouse and conditioned flex research and design space, was leased long-term by an undisclosed tenant that is expanding in the market.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Aric Starck and Drew Dodds represented the landlord in the transaction.
“2081 Faraday is an exceptional multi-function industrial headquarters facility that features many modern interior and exterior upgrades throughout the property, including a newly surfaced parking field, new exterior and interior paint, a high-image reception, tenant lounge, open modern workspace area, and high-bay warehouse area,” Cushman & Wakefield said Executive Vice Chair Aric Starck said. “This all makes the facility highly attractive to a variety of industrial uses. The freestanding building consists of 143,223 square feet on the first floor plus 14,751 square feet on the second floor. Key features of the facility include above standard grade and dock level loading, 26-foot clear height, heavy power, gated truck court, plus large outdoor amenity space.
“The property is also strategically and prominently located in the heart of the Carlsbad Research Center amongst some of the nation’s most prominent manufacturing & technology companies,” Starck said.
Its location in San Diego’s North County is near Interstates 5 and 15, State Route 78, McClellan Palomar Airport and beaches, and is also in proximity to other regional amenities and key locations including the U.S./Mexico border.
