The Encinitas Visitors Center marked the start of summer with the launch of a rebranding as Visit Encinitas.
The change, unveiled Friday, June 21, includes a new website and logo in keeping with a fresh approach to promoting what the city has to offer, according to a news release.
“Our goal with Visitencinitasca.com is to provide an immersive, user-friendly experience that showcases the unique charm, vibrant culture, and stunning natural beauty of Encinitas,” Sherry Yardley, CEO of Visit Encinitas and the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, said in the news release. “We worked with Renewww Marketing, a full-service digital marketing company based in North County, to redesign the site so that every local tourism-related Encinitas business is listed, and it is a much more vibrant, inclusive and interactive experience. We invite everyone to explore our current calendar of local events, connect, and discover all that our beautiful city has to offer.”
The updated Visit Encinitas website includes:
✓ A calendar of local events.
✓ Interactive maps highlighting attractions, dining, shopping and accommodations.
✓ Stories about Encinitas people, history and culture.
✓ Advertising opportunities for local businesses.
“As a long-time resident, I’m excited to be able to bring this new comprehensive resource to locals and visitors that highlights all of the areas of Encinitas: Downtown Encinitas ‘By the Beach,’ Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Leucadia, Olivenhain and ‘New Encinitas’ along the El Camino Real Corridor,” Visit Encinitas Director Carol Knight said in the news release.
Visit Encinitas is located inside the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce at 535 Encinitas Blvd., Suite 116, and is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Call 760-753-6228 or email info@visitencinitasca.com for more information.
