Oceanside CA— The 2016 Oceanside International Film Festival opened with a Red Carpet welcoming reception at the Star Theatre, on Sunday.
The Star Glee Club greeted festival guests as they arrived while inside a very gracious guest of honor, Lee Meriwether shook hands, gave hugs, answered questions and posed for photos with absolutely everyone who asked.
The reception was followed with a performance by Ballet Folklórico ‘Tierra Caliente’ and a screening of last years Jury Award for Best Picture, OIFF-2015 Audience Choice Award for Best Narrative Feature Film, ‘Keep in Touch’.
Lee Meriwether, former Miss America, Golden Globe and Emmy nominee will be in attendance again tonight as the festival continues at the Brooks Theatre.
