Oceanside CA— The City of Oceanside Parks & Recreation and The Friends of Oceanside Parks invite you to celebrate Heritage Park’s 40th Anniversary on Sunday, July 10 from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Heritage Park was built to honor our Country’s Bicentennial in 1976, and is located 220 Peyri Road, Oceanside.
The park’s buildings give a glimpse of Oceanside life in the early 1900s and include an old school house, jail, ice cream parlor and newspaper building. The North County Model Rail Road Society will have their Trains for Kids Room open too!
This will be a celebratory day of music, food and fun. Food vendors will be on site. Come walk down memory lane. Bring the family and a beach chair and enjoy the free entertainment. If you would like to be a vendor or volunteer, please contact Parks and Recreation at (760) 435-5041.
