Oceanside CA— MiraCosta College’s summer session starts on June 13, so now is a great time to work toward a degree or certificate to get started in the workplace or transfer to a four-year university, or simply take classes for personal enrichment, professional growth or to gain a new skill.
MiraCosta College is a fully accredited community college that offers courses in nearly 75 different academic and technical disciplines, and although enrollment is on the rise, great credit classes are still available in subjects such as accounting, administration of justice, anthropology, art, astronomy, automotive technologies, biology, business, chemistry, child development, counseling, design, economics, English, ESL, film, geography, health, history, kinesiology, literature, massage, math, music, oceanography, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology and more.
Classes are offered during the day, evening, weekends and online. Students may also enroll in self-paced classes taught in computer labs on campus. The enrollment fee is just $46 per unit for California residents. This fee is waived for concurrently enrolled high school students.
