Oceanside CA— Just after 4:00pm this afternoon, Sunday May 29, 2016 the Oceanside Police Department responded to the 4100 block of Alabar Way after multiple 9-1-1 callers called to report a woman screaming for help and one caller reporting a female victim had been stabbed.
Officers arrived to find the conscious 42 year-old female victim with at least one stab wound. The victim told officers her 20 year old son, Nathan Orozco, had just stabbed her in the back yard of their residence following an argument.
Orozco was located in the backyard of the residence and taken into custody without incident.
The victim was airlifted to Scripps La Jolla and is expected to survive.
