Oceanside CA– MiraCosta College is offering tuition-free noncredit computer courses this fall: Essential Computer Skills (NCWFP11): #3030, MTW, 1:15–3:25 p.m. Begins August 14, 2014.
This course is for those who may be re-entering college or learning/improving workforce computer skills. It covers the use of Windows 7, Word, Internet searches, and preparing business documents, as well as school research papers and use of course management system.
MiraCosta College also offers other free, noncredit 8-week computer classes that begin August 23. Courses include Basic Computer Skills (NCVOC38), Basic Word (NCVOC31), and Beginning Spreadsheets –Excel (NCVOC39).
Free, noncredit classes are also available that will prepare students for the Cisco CCNA SECURITY certification exam. The class includes hands-on lab exercises as well as lectures.
Registration is now open. Classes are held at the MiraCosta College Community Learning Center, 1831 Mission Avenue, Oceanside.
