Oceanside CA– The Oceanside Public Library will be having a Batman-themed book-fair to benefit its Teen Zone, at the Oceanside Barnes & Noble bookstore on Vista Way, on Wednesday, July 23 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will be part of the bookstore’s celebration of the 75th birthday of Batman. Join local teens, Library staff and volunteers at Barnes & Noble for a Batman trivia contest, a chance to create your own superhero shield or Batman mask, and a film screening—you can even come dressed as your favorite DC Comics character! When you make a purchase in the store, a portion of the proceeds will go the Oceanside Public Library’s Teen Zone.
Barnes & Noble is located at 2615 Vista Way, Oceanside, 92054. If you are not able to make it to the store, you can still participate by shopping online at www.bn.com between July 23 and July 28, using the Book-fair Event ID Number 11395977. Look at the bottom of the payment page during checkout for where it says, “Check this box if this is a Book-fair Order.” If you are signed in to your existing Barnes & Noble account, click on the Change button in the Payment section first to get the book-fair checkbox to show.
