Oceanside CA- The Oceanside Parks and Recreation Division has made free Wi-Fi available at three of its community recreation facilities: El Corazon Senior Center, located at 3302 Senior Center Drive, Melba Bishop Recreation Center, located at 5306 North River Road, and Joe Balderrama Recreation Center, located at 709 San Diego Street.

Swim Lessons at Brooks Street Swim Center

Spring Learn to Swim classes are now open for enrollment at Brooks Street Swim Center. Classes are available for both adults and children. Classes begin in April and run through May. To register, please go to www.oceansiderec.com, click on class registration and set up a free ActiveNet account. Online registration is quick and easy and saves time and money. You may also register at the Brooks Street Swim Center, located at 130 Brooks Street.

Luncheon to Announce Sponsorship Opportunities for 2014 Events

The Friends of Oceanside Parks will host a complimentary luncheon for local business owners on Friday, March 14 at 11:30 a.m. at the Pit Stop Restaurant, located 3825 Mission Avenue in Oceanside. Local business owners are invited to attend and learn about exciting sponsorship opportunities. The Friends of Oceanside Parks is a 501(c)(3) organization established by the community to ensure the preservation of Parks and Recreation programs and services. The Foundation hosts a variety of fundraising events annually, and seeks sponsorship’s to enhance their success. Come and find out how your Oceanside business can be highlighted as a sponsor at one of the upcoming community events.
