Oceanside CA- Oceanside City Manager, Peter Weiss, tendered his resignation at the beginning of the City Council meeting Wednesday afternoon. The resignation will be effective at the end of the year. Weiss has been the Oceanside City Manager since 2007 but has been with the city since 1986. As City Manager, Weiss is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the city, responsible for the $130 million annual budget and the 1,000 city employees.
