Oceanside CA— Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) has received a $1,036 grant from the San Diego County Employees’ Charitable Organization (CECO). Funding from CECO will be utilized to purchase a new handwashing station for the Club, helping protect members and staff from the spread of COVID-19.
Previously, BGCO was renting handwashing stations, which was extremely costly. These handwashing stations also leaked frequently, making them difficult to maintain. Purchasing a new handwashing station will decrease our rental expenses and efficiently support a clean, safe learning environment.
“We are so incredibly grateful for CECO’s support. This handwashing station will help us provide the highest level of protection for the youth we serve. It will also provide our hardworking parents peace of mind, knowing that their children are safe while busy learning and having fun at our Club.,” said Jodi Diamond, CEO.
