Join us virtually May 6 for a Biz Kid$ Teacher Training
San Diego CA— San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is partnering with the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering to host a virtual Biz Kid$ Teacher Training during the “Being Mindful About Continued Learning” event on May 6 at 4:30 p.m. This event is part of Teacher Appreciation Week and every attendee will also receive a special self-care kit to continue their mindfulness practice following the program.
The free event is open to the public and will include a guided mindfulness practice followed by two virtual presentations, the first where you will hear from a Vertex research scientist about recent advances in genetic therapies and how STEM educators can implement this content in their classrooms. The second is a SDCCU Biz Kid$ Teacher Training Webinar, a resource for teachers to help teach their students about money and business, exclusively for educators.
