Applications open for the Fall 2020 UCSD Extension cohort, featuring three courses for in-demand jobs
As COVID-19 continues, those who are unemployed or furloughed seek education for industries minimally affected by the crisis
San Diego CA— Applications are now open for the Fall 2020 UCSD Extension cohorts through San Diego Workforce Partnership’s Income Share Agreements (ISA) fund. Through the ISA program, recipients pay nothing up front and won’t have to pay anything back until they graduate and find a job paying over $40,000. The program also provides career services during and after their completion of the program to find the job students are looking for.
As the pandemic due to COVID-19 persists and affects many industries across the region, many job seekers find this the perfect time to focus on their career goals and take that next step in landing a job. This ISA model provides students with a more affordable higher education option that boosts the economy by addressing the need for skilled employees. Students pay the ISA based on their income at their place of employment after the program.
