Oceanside CA— Peter Weiss, currently the Mayor of the City of Oceanside, has announced his candidacy for Oceanside City Council, District 4.
“Building upon our successes and focusing on Oceanside’s future will require creative, balanced and responsible leadership” said Weiss, “which I have demonstrated with my time with the City. “
Weiss has a record of supporting local businesses, enhancing Oceanside’s Public safety services and improving the quality of life for residents.
“I have been an advocate for broadening our recreational opportunities and for adding resources to address the growing homeless situation” said Weiss.
“I am honored by the wide array of support and encouragement I have received from residents, businesses and community groups to run for District 4. I am committed to maintaining stability and a positive investment environment so that we can enhance the services we provide to the community. My experience and demonstrated accomplishments make me uniquely qualified to represent not only the people in District 4, but the entire City. “
