Only one week left to nominate to the 2020 CBAD Awards!

Carlsbad CA— The best companies in North County San Diego and inspiring business and education leaders from the region will convene at the Carlsbad Business Achievement & Distinction (CBAD) Awards Luncheon: Bridge to the Future. This exciting event will shine a spotlight on businesses, individuals and organizations for their achievements and milestones within the community. The celebration will take place on Thursday, March 19 , 2020, from 10:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa.
The CBAD Awards will recognize outstanding businesses and individuals in three areas: Community Awards, Business Awards, and new to this year, Education Awards, which will highlight a Teacher of the Year and a School Administrator of the Year. “We love showcasing and celebrating all those that make an impact in our community. This event brings everyone together to encourage us all to be the best we can be,” said President and CEO of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, Bret Schanzenbach.
Nominations close on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
The feature presentation this year will be an interview with Founding Chairman and CEO Emeritus of Qualcomm® Irwin Jacobs, conducted by Founder/Owner of Fortis Fitness and Strength Training & YOGALUX, Adam Jacobs, who is also a board member of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce and Irwin Jacob’s grandson. “Having grown up in North County, it amazes me how much this region has to offer,” says Adam Jacobs. “The thing that stands out the most is the incredible community that has been built. The people are truly the heart of soul of this region!”
KUSI News Anchor and North County local, Lauren Phinney, will act as master of ceremonies.
Ticket prices to be a part of this celebration are $95 for members, $150 for general public and $1000 for a sponsored table of eight. Other event sponsorship opportunities are available.
