- New hours and happenings at Carlsbad City Library Learning Center – The Carlsbad City Library, located at 3368 Eureka Place, is now open on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Library Learning Center offers a number of programs and services in English and Spanish. The first Saturday family program, a Lunar New Year Celebration is Jan. 25. Admission is free. Additional volunteer tutor opportunities for the literacy program are now available.
