Committee Members and Board Members to be recognized at holiday event

Carlsbad CA— On Wednesday, December 11, 2019 the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce will hold the annual Volunteer Recognition Reception. This end-of-year event and award ceremony recognizes the importance of dedicated volunteers who make the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce what it is today.
“The hard work and dedication of those who participate in our committees and our board help maintain Carlsbad’s business community as the thriving engine it is and will continue to be for decades to come,” says Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Bret Schanzenbach.
While there are many ways to volunteer at the Chamber, the most distinguishable one is to be part of a committee. The committee members nominate themselves and their peers for a series of awards including: Rookie of the Year, Chamber Champion, Committee Member of the Year, Committee Chair of the Year, Go-Giver Award, and Committee of the Year.
Past committee winners have been the Education Committee, the Sustainability Committee (now Green Business Committee) and the Ready Carlsbad Business Alliance.
