Carlsbad CA— 2019 delivers FREE teen programs starting the week of January 7, 2019 at the Pine Avenue Community Center, an inter-generational center located 3209 Harding Street, Carlsbad, CA 92008.
New teen programs include FREE “Friday Nights @ Pine” for drop-in basketball and teen room games as well as Carlsbad Club middle school dances on the first Friday of each month starting on Friday, February 1, 7-9 p.m. For the second, third, and fourth Fridays, Friday Nights @ Pine will be 6-8 p.m. for middle school students and 8-10 p.m. for high school students.
Although the activities are free, registration and school I.D. will be required. Private or home school students can have parents validate their grade level for attendance. Registration is available online at www.carlsbadconnect.org.
Also new are FREE after school programs starting on Monday, January 7, 2019 for students in middle to high school to keep them active while having fun hanging out with friends. Programs are Monday – Thursday and include Acrylic Painting, Carlsbad Cheer, A Novel Idea Book Club, and D&D Gaming. Registration is required and accessible online at www.carlsbadconnect.org.
Beyond the teen programs there are Adult Sports with open gym hours to include Basketball, Volleyball, and Pickleball. The drop-in fee is only $3.00. Pine Party Packages are also available to book your next birthday party or family celebration. Availability and rates are also online.
