Carlsbad CA— Carlsbad City Library is hosting festive events sure to get you in the holiday spirit this season. Programs are scheduled for kids, teens and adults. Participation is free, and sign-ups are required for some events.

Holiday Concert: Harpist Leah Panos
Leah Panos is a classically trained musician who performs a vast solo repertoire ranging from Beethoven to The Beatles and has composed several harp arrangements of pop and film music. Seating is limited and first come, first served.

Holiday Decorating Fun
Get ready for the holidays combining two popular programs: Trim a Tree and Cookie Decorating. Enjoy decorating a cookie for that someone special and make two ornaments; one for your tree and one for ours.

Mariachi Divas is a multicultural, all-female ensemble that continues to expand the scope of mariachi music. Since 2003, Mariachi Divas has been the official mariachi of the Disneyland Resort. Seating is limited and first come, first served.

Yale Strom and Hot Pstromi
Hot Pstomi’s sound – a fusion of traditional klezmer, new Jewish music, Gypsy, khasadic, world beat and Balkan music noted for improvisational breaks – is unique and celebrated. Yale Strom’s records have appeared on Top Ten, Year’s Best and critically acclaimed lists across North America. Seating is limited and first come, first served.
