San Diego CA— This month, crews will set temporary wooden structures, also known as falsework, to support the construction of the Trolley overpass spanning Interstate 5 (I-5) at Voigt Drive.
Starting Tuesday, November 13 and running through, Thursday, November 29, a series of temporary overnight closures are scheduled to take place on the northbound and southbound lanes of I-5.
Motorists should plan to take alternate routes to avoid congestion, as significant delays are expected during these closures.
The scheduled overnight closures are as follows:
Tuesday, November 13, through Thursday, November 15:
- Full closure of I-5 northbound lanes from La Jolla Village Drive to Genesee Avenue
- From 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, unless noted otherwise
Sunday, November 18, through Tuesday, November 20:
- Full closure of I-5 northbound lanes from La Jolla Village Drive to Genesee Avenue
- From 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, unless noted otherwise
Monday, November 26, through Thursday, November 29:
- Full closure of I-5 southbound lanes from the Interstate 5/Interstate 805 Interchange to La Jolla Village Drive
- From 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, unless noted otherwise
*These closures are subject to change
