Oceanside CA— MainStreet Oceanside is proud to bring back the Eat & Shop Local Oceanside Program for the fall and holiday season. The program, which encourages and rewards shopping and dining in Downtown Oceanside, has two annual local shopping campaigns: Shop & Win October, Oct. 1-31, and ‘Tis the Season to Shop Local, Nov. 24-Dec. 12.

Shop and Win October

During Shop & Win October, residents and visitors who eat and shop downtown qualify to win local prizes. Simply spend a minimum of $50 at one or more district shops, restaurants and businesses between Oct. 1 and 31, and submit your receipts or receipt photos to gumaro@mainstreetoceanside.com or the MainStreet Oceanside office at 701 Mission Ave. For each $50 spent, you’ll receive one entry into one of four weekly prize drawings:

• Week 1: Diving Gear Set (MERIC Spearfishing)– drawing on Wednesday, Oct. 10, for receipts received by noon on Oct. 9.
• Week 2: Celestron NexStar Telescope (OPT) – drawing on Wednesday, Oct. 17, for receipts received by 4 p.m. on Oct. 16.
• Week 3: Custom Surfboard (Whitlock Industries) – drawing on Wednesday, Oct. 24, for receipts received by 4 p.m. on Oct. 23.
• Week 4: Scott Aspect Bicycle (Endurance House) – drawing on Thursday, Nov. 1, for receipts received by 4 p.m. on Oct. 31.

Enter to win any week of your choice by the deadline listed above or every week by continuing to support local businesses throughout the campaign. New this year, double your odds of winning with Wednesday purchases. When you eat and shop local on Wednesdays during Shop & Win October, you’ll receive two entries for each $50 spent.
Eligible receipts must be from businesses located on Coast Highway or Tremont Street between Wisconsin Avenue and Harbor Drive, or between Seagaze Drive and Civic Center Drive to the west of Interstate 5.
