Carlsbad CA— Join Carlsbad Republican Women (CRWF) on Tuesday, October 23rd, to celebrate the club’s ongoing involvement and support for our community. CRWF member, Melanie Burkholder, will present well-deserved grants to the San Diego Young Republicans club and to five College Republican organizations including Cal State San Marcos, Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego State, University of California SD, and the University of San Diego. For the 13^th straight year, CRWF has had the honor of awarding cash grants to these dedicated and active young Republicans!
CRWF is also honored to hear from a very special friend at the October meeting. Brett Winterble, host of The Brett Winterble radio show, will address “The Counter Resistance – the Path to Winning in America.” Heard Monday through Friday during afternoon drive on 760 KFMB, Brett is one of the brightest young stars in the media today and a strong supporter of the Carlsbad Republican Women!
Winterble is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts with a degree in Political Communication. While at Emerson, he competed twice at the World Championships of Parliamentary Debate. Additionally, he served as an on Air Host and News Director at WERS- one of the nation’s premier college radio stations. His love of broadcasting took him from Boston to New York City, Los Angeles and to San Diego where he has worked with Clear Channel, Radio America, CBS News, and Brandon D’Amore Productions. Brett holds an MA from American Military University in Homeland Security Studies. His passions include his family, travel, cooking, and sports!
Carlsbad Republican Women Federated general meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Green Dragon Tavern and Museum, 6115 Paseo del Norte, Carlsbad, CA 92011.
