Oceanside CA— Concert goers who haven’t stopped believing can take it easy on the COASTER this weekend as North County Transit District (NCTD) faithfully gets you to downtown San Diego. The Eagles are set to perform at Petco Park on Saturday, September 22. This concert is followed by a Journey & Def Leppard concert on Sunday, September 23. Following each concert, NCTD will welcome you with open arms onto specially scheduled northbound COASTER trains.
Prior to the concerts, passengers can avoid the traffic and hassles of parking in the Gaslamp by taking a normally scheduled southbound COASTER train and transfer to an MTS Trolley at Santa Fe Depot to arrive at Petco Park. After the concerts, passengers can take the 12:30 a.m. COASTER train north from Santa Fe Depot with eight stops from downtown to Oceanside.
RegionPlus Day Passes cover both the COASTER and MTS Trolley round-trip fare and can be purchased on the day of the event for $12 from any NCTD station vending machine. Or plan ahead and buy tickets early on your smartphone with the Compass Cloud mobile app. Fares are available almost any way you want it!
The southbound COASTER schedule can be found on NCTD’s website, GoNCTD.com. For trip planning assistance, passengers can contact Customer Service at 760-966-6500.
