North County Lifeline’s Executive Director, Don Stump, Will Be Honored
Carlsbad CA— The Annual Unite North County Coastal Luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 3rd to bring together civic, business and church leaders who are dedicated to tackling community challenges together. Unite North County Coastal is a community network of leaders in key spheres of community influence working for a better future in education and community development.
This year’s event theme is “Investing in the Lives of Our Youth”. The event will be hosted by Angie Lee, a reporter for KFMB CBS8, and the keynote speaker will be national bestselling author and speaker John O’Leary. The attendees will include the city Mayors and other key community leaders of Encinitas, Carlsbad, Vista and Oceanside.
North County Lifeline’s Executive Director, Don Stump, will receive the 2018 Uniter Award. Mr. Stump is being honored as a local hero for the positive impact he has made during his thirty year career working with nonprofit organizations that serve youth and families throughout San Diego County.
“Don truly represents Unite’s vision for embracing our community’s needs and creating solutions. His work has transformed the lives of countless youth and their families,” remarks Juan Castaneda of Unite North County Coastal’s Strategic Action Leadership Team.
Led by Mr. Stump, North County Lifeline works with thousands of youth and their families who are breaking cycles of poverty to become successful and self-reliant.
