Encinitas, Solana Beach seek city commissioners for 2015

The cities of Encinitas and Solana Beach seek applicants for open seats on various commissions.
Residents must be registered voters in their respective cities.
Encinitas seeks residents to sit on the following commissions, which have seats that expire in 2015: arts, environment, parks and recreation, planning, senior citizens, and traffic and public safety. The deadline for incumbents who want to reapply for their seats is 6 p.m. Jan. 29, and the deadline for new applicants is 6 p.m. Feb. 5, according to an Encinitas city announcement.

Solana Beach seeks residents to fill seats on these commissions: budget and finance, parks and recreation, arts, public safety, and view assessment. Applications are accepted through 5:30 p.m. Jan. 15, according to a Solana Beach city announcement.
