Oceanside CA— Early this morning, February 12, 2018 just before 3:30am, security reported vandalism on parked cars in an apartment complex located 200 Rancho Del Oro and in the 4000 block of Craven Rd.

The investigation revealed a total of 18 vehicles were found with brown or white spray paint on them. The tagging included: squiggly or wavy lines, phallic symbols, attempted drawings of satanic symbols, and derogatory terms.
The tagging was indiscriminately done with no apparent victimology matching the terms tagged on specific vehicles. Some parking structures inside the apartment complex at 200 Rancho Del Oro were also tagged.
The investigation in this case is continuing with the Oceanside Police Departments Property Crimes Unit.
