Oceanside CA— This week Oceanside Police Officer, Brad Hunter returned to work. He is currently assigned to the Department’s Traffic Section, working light duty until medically released to return to full duty. It is anticipated that Brad will return to his traffic enforcement duties, operating a department motorcycle, in the near future.
The Oceanside Police Department along with Officer Hunter would like to thank everyone for their support.
On Monday June 19, 2017 at 10:31 am, Oceanside Police Motorcycle Officer Brad Hunter was intentionally struck by a vehicle[button color=”gray” size=”small” link=”https://osidenews.com/2017/06/20/suspect-mondays-hit-run-arrested-attempted-murder-police-officer/” target=”blank” ]Link[/button] driven by 26-year-old Ignacio Flores at Oceanside Blvd and Foussat St.
Flores was subsequently arrested and successfully prosecuted.
