San Diego CA— The San Diego chapter of Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, will hold its 2017 San Diego Autism Speaks Walk event on September 30, 2017, at Liberty Station. Proceeds from San Diego’s 14th annual walk will support Autism Speaks’ mission to promote solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the life span, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Registration for the event is free.
Autism Speaks Walk is the world’s largest fundraising event to enhance the lives of people with autism today and accelerate a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow. The events are powered by the love of parents, grandparents, children, siblings, friends, relatives, and support providers for the special people in their lives living with autism. Funds raised help fuel innovative research and make connections to critical lifelong supports and services.
The San Diego event will include a 5k walk, Kids Zone, live entertainment, partner booths with local autism resources and Team Village for teams that raise $2,500 or more. Autism Speaks will also host a Kickoff Party on September 4th at the Del Mar Racetrack.

The walk takes place Saturday, September 30, 2017, 8:00 a.m at NTC Park at Liberty Station, 2455 Cushing Road, San Diego, CA 92106.
