Come meet Garden staff and volunteers for an overview of what the Garden’s Volunteer Program offers and how you would fit in with your talents and goals. Volunteering at San Diego Botanic Garden is fulfilling for you and beneficial to the Garden in so many ways! Whether you are interested in gardening, guest interaction, giving tours or becoming a Docent, this is the time to start!

Daily, NOW – April 2018, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. Free with paid admission or membership. Sculpture in the Garden. This unique exhibition showcases 49 sculptures from 31 talented artists set against the beautiful backdrop of the San Diego Botanic Garden. Take a self-guided tour with the Garden’s Sculpture Map. Families are invited to pack up the kids and enjoy some outdoor fun in the Garden! Live, kid-friendly entertainment is provided each Thursday night from 6-7 pm at the San Dieguito Heritage Museum. Summer Jazz Concert featuring The Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame Orchestra. Spend the evening listening to the sounds of the Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame Orchestra performing the music of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, Count Basie and more! Learn all about how to plant a pollinator-friendly garden. Learn about the different pollinators including honey bees, wild bees, humming birds, moths, hoverflies and butterflies. The San Diego Botanic Garden is a beautiful urban retreat nestled on 37-acres in the midst of Encinitas.
