Oceanside CA— Combine your love of drawing and anime at the Oceanside Public Library. Anime Your Way presenter and professional artist Carlos Nieto III will be doing two 1 hour anime drawing workshops for teens on Monday, July 31. This event will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Library, 330 N. Coast Hwy, and at 4:30 p.m. at the Mission Branch Library, 3861-B Mission Ave, on the same day. Learn tips and tricks for reproducing your favorite anime and manga characters!
No registration required and no experience necessary. For students in grades 6-12. Drawing stretches the imagination and helps improve critical thinking skills.
These events are free of charge and sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library. Oceanside Public Library’s kids and teen Summer Reading theme is “Reading by Design” and there are many opportunities to build and design at the Library this summer.
