Formerly Potpourri Resale Boutique
Oceanside CA—TERI Inspired Resale, a new nonprofit resale boutique, 3772 Mission Avenue, Suite 125, in the Mission Shopping Center, on the northwest corner of Mission Avenue and El Camino Real, celebrated their grand opening, on Saturday, with a ribbon cutting ceremony. For 20 years, TERI owned the successful resale shop ‘Potpourri Resale Boutique’ off of Coast Highway, in downtown Oceanside, but needed a location that could accommodate the growing business and provide more opportunity to students with autism and other special needs.
Teri Inspired Resale offers gently used or new high-end secondhand furniture, clothing, home goods, and more. To a greater extent, this unique shop provides program support and is a vocational training site for individuals with special needs from the prominent North County-based nonprofit, TERI Inc.
“Our whole team with our wonderful volunteers has made this all possible,” said TERI CEO, Cheryl Kilmer. “This has been a wonderful opportunity for us, as far a presence in the community as a business, but it has also been a great vocational site for our students of many ages throughout the years. Anybody that helps us, shops, donates or volunteers becomes part of our TERI family.”
“I think TERI, as a community resource, has been an incredibly positive operation that we have here in Oceanside”, said Deputy Mayor, Chuck Lowery. “I was involved with TERI before I was on the City Council. This is excellent as an outreach for letting people know that its not an unusual situation to have people with special needs that we can accommodate within our community. That’s why I am personally committed to the TERI message and the work that’s being done here.
Teri Inspired Resale is open Monday-Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.
