Oceanside CA— Garrison Elementary is celebrating American History Week this week and they will be having events all week. The community is invited and welcome to attend any of the events listed below.
Monday, April 3 at 9 a.m. and continuing throughout the day at green patch between Buildings A & B
- Third Grade Native American Exhibition
Tuesday, April 4 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the multipurpose room
- Assembly: North Country Photography Society presents award-winning photographers Tom O. Scott and Sandy Zelasko presenting landscape, nature and abstract photographs of our National Parks. The North County Photography Society will present slides to grades 3-5 students and interact with them to use their viewing (patterns, design, etc), listening and speaking skills.
Wednesday, April 5
- 9 to10 a.m. Fourth Grade Presents their California Missions Projects in Rooms B13 & B14
- 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Fourth and Fifth Grade Community Patriotic Musical in the multipurpose room
Friday, April 7
- 9 to 10 a.m. Fifth Grade National Parks Exhibits at the green tables by school office or in case of rain rooms B9 and B15.
