Oceanside CA— Please join us for a City Council workshop on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. The City Council will review the road diet proposed for Coast Highway:
- two lanes with roundabouts for entire corridor or
- two lanes north of Oceanside Boulevard with roundabouts and four lanes south of Oceanside Boulevard with traffic signals.
Additionally, the City Council will review the proposed Development Incentives and Overlay Zoning. The proposed Incentive Overlay provides optional zoning regulations including extra density and height in exchange for additional public benefits such as more parking, public open space, and street improvements. The Incentive Overlay includes “form-based” development standards.
The public is invited to attend the workshop. The City Council will provide members of the community an opportunity to speak during the public comment portion of the workshop.
