Oceanside CA— Politics 101 Welcomes Mary Baker to their April 1, 2017 meeting at VANC, 9:30am-11:00am. Mary Baker is a political activist, author, and educator residing in San Diego, California. She is acting President of the San Diego/Orange County Chapter for the non-profit organization, Citizens’ Alliance for Property Rights and is co-founder and member of Citizens for Quality Education—San Diego. Mary serves on two Executive Committees as President of California Federation of Republican Women—Southern Division and as President of Rancho Bernardo Republican Women Federated. She is also the Local Activism Chair for the San Diego County FRW board.
In 2013, Mary launched a workshop and an accompanying training manual called How to Become a Citizen NinjaTM. As of today, Mary has taught over 800 citizens how to participate in the civic process
effectively, how to engage in civil discourse, and how to neutralize bullies who want to silence them. Mary’s first book entitled Citizen Ninja: Stand Up to Power! published by Ronin Publishers, Inc. is available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
Mary Baker has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College where she graduated Cum Laude. She grew up in Europe and speaks French and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys tutoring those
languages to high school students. Mary has been married for 27 years and raised two children.
