Vista CA— On Monday, December 5, 2016, at approximately 6:30 pm, a 19-year-old female was walking her dog in the 700 block of Grapevine Road in the City of Vista when she was attacked from behind by an unknown male.
The male forced the victim to the ground and groped her with his hands. The victim fought the suspect and at the same time, called to her dog for help. The victim’s dog started barking and may have bitten the suspect.
The suspect stopped the attack and fled on foot. He was last seen running east bound on Planet Road with the dog in chase. The dog returned to the victim shortly after.
The suspect is described as a 25-year-old male of unknown ethnicity, approximately 5’6″ tall, and weighing 160-180 pounds. He was wearing a dark colored beanie, dark colored hoodie and unknown colored pants.
