In 2014, there were 16,897 domestic violence incidents reported to law enforcement in San Diego County, a two-percent increase from the prior year. Source: SANDAG

This Annual Domestic Violence HOPE event features music, activities, speakers, art and resource booths. Mother and father of murder victim Nicole Sinkule will share their expirence about their daughter who was murdered at the age of 24 on October 16, 2005 (10 years ago) by her boyfriend Eric Marum. Their 13-month relationship was plagued by Eric’s Methamphetamine use. Nicole was murdered by Eric as she slept; he beat her in the head with a hammer.
