Oceanside CA— Robbie Hass, longtime supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside and current Board Chair, has been selected as the 2015 “Woman of the Year” by the North San Diego County NAACP. Mrs. Hass will be honored at the “Blue & Gold Freedom Fund Awards Gala – Pursuing Liberty in the Face of Injustice” on Saturday, October 10, 2015. The event will be held at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa.
Founded in 1965, the mission of the North San Diego County NAACP is to empower under-served community members with the knowledge to improve their social and economic status through advocacy, human and civil rights services.
Mrs. Hass who, along with her husband Keith, owns Hass Team Realty, has been a dedicated Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside board member for over seven years. She is committed to providing life changing experiences and quality programs to children in the local community. “We are so proud of Robbie and delighted that she is being honored for all of the work that she does in the North County. We know firsthand what a tremendous impact she makes through her volunteer service. She is a tireless advocate and fundraiser for the Club and is dedicated to ensuring that all youth have the opportunity for a bright future,” said Jodi Diamond, CEO.
