The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce invites exhibitors and vendors to request their own booth in order to show off and sell their products and/or services during the Harbor Days weekend, too.
Special military guests are a highlight for Harbor Days, too. This year the Navy’s LCAC from ACU-5 will land on the beach Saturday morning and vehicles from Camp Pendleton’s Mechanized Museum will be on display on the Harbor Beach.

Sunday brings more multi-participation choices for Harbor Day fans. First thing in the morning, at 7:30 p.m. starts the Tiki Swim Marathon. You’ll see the huge rubber ducky in the harbor just waiting for the swimmers as they set new athletic records.
Oceanside’s Harbor Days has a traditional grand finale competition. It is the unique and famously remembered Nail N’ Sail competition. Boat building begins at Sunday at 10:30 am. Attendees build their own boats on the sand with limited supplies, which may sink or swim, or play it safe. Watch as teams pound nails into wood planks and decorate their new vessels within a very short amount of time. At 2:00 p.m. the boats are put to the test when the quirky maritime contestants launch their brand new boats into the harbor and seek to win the coveted Nail N’ Sail winning title.
The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce organizes the integration of all these events for thousands of attendees to enjoy. They wish to remind everyone that entry deadlines for contestants, vendor and volunteer applications are nearing soon. For more information go to www.oceansidechamber.com/oceanside-harbor-days
