Formerly Diamond Ball, the November black tie gala will benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Women and Infant Services at Tri-City Medical Center
Oceanside CA— Tri-City Hospital Foundation’s annual black tie ball will return for its 35th anniversary paying homage to its original name – Baile de Esperanza – and is poised to break fundraising records. The elegant affair, which will take place on Sat., Nov. 7 at the Park Hyatt Aviara, will help create healthier futures for North County mothers and babies. All proceeds raised will benefit the expansion and renovation of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the Labor and Delivery Department at Tri-City Medical Center.
“’Esperanza’ means ‘hope,’ and that’s the perfect sentiment for this year’s event,” said Glen Newhart, CFRE, President of Tri-City Hospital Foundation. “We’re working toward a $1.2 million goal, which will ultimately give local families hope for a healthy, happy future through state-of-the-art care and technology at Tri-City facilities. Our NICU is the only Level III facility in North County, equipped to care for newborns in the most critical condition. When we complete this renovation, our outstanding team of board certified neonatalogists, who care for these babies 24/7/365, won’t have to transfer babies due to a lack of space.”
Since the 2014 gala, the Foundation has focused heavily on fundraising for the Tri-City Medical Center NICU and updating and growing its Women and Infant Services area. Expanding the NICU, including the addition of private rooms, will allow hundreds of critically ill infants to receive care close to home while also granting greater privacy and comfort for mother and baby, as well as increased efficiency for physicians and nurses. The fully upgraded services are anticipated to be available during the summer of 2016.
While enjoying an evening of giving back at the Baile, attendees will be inspired with a heartwarming presentation starring the many success stories of Tri-City Medical Center. The event will also feature a traditional filet and lobster menu, live entertainment by NRG, a high-end auction and of course, a full evening of dancing.
Registration for regular attendance and sponsorships is now open at TriCityHospitalFoundation.org, starting at $350 per person.
